The XGN □ -12/24 series fully insulated fully enclosed inflatable metal switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the inflatable cabinet) is a completely sealed system, with all live parts and switches sealed inside a stainless steel casing. The entire switching device is not affected by external environmental conditions, thus ensuring operational reliability and personal safety, and achieving maintenance free. By selecting expandable busbars, any combination can be achieved to achieve modularity. The extended busbar is completely insulated and shielded, ensuring high reliability and safety. Inflatable cabinets can also provide industrial automation solutions, forming the concept of intelligent switches and minimizing on-site installation and debugging workload.

All high-voltage live parts are located inside the stainless steel box, and the box shell is sealed and welded with stainless steel. SF6 gas with a working pressure of 1.4B bar is filled in, and the protection level is IP67. It can be installed in damp, sandy, dusty, salt polluted, mining, box type substations, and any place where surface pollution is easily caused by air pollution without the need for special preventive measures. No need for busbar cleaning and protection against small animals. Even the fuse compartment has a protection level of IP67. The extended busbar is fully insulated and fully shielded to ensure that it is not affected by external environmental changes and is maintenance free.

Special practical conditions

According to the IEC 60694 standard, for special operating conditions that are different from normal operating conditions, manufacturers and end-users must agree. If it involves particularly harsh operating environments, it is necessary to consult the manufacturer and supplier.

When electrical equipment is installed at an altitude of 2500 meters or above, special attention should be paid to adjusting the pressure during manufacturing.

ACCESSORY

All load switches and circuit breakers can be equipped with 2NO+2NC indicator switch positions. A parallel trip coil (AC or DC) can be installed on the transformer switch/circuit breaker. The low-voltage control components are located behind the front panel.

Remote control and monitoring unit

It can be equipped with integrated remote control and monitoring units.

This unit is a pre installed product that can be assembled into a complex or new solution, simply by adding a low-voltage box at the top of the switch.

Voltage indication

The capacitive voltage indicator displays whether the bushing is live, and the socket on it can be used for the core phase.

Short circuit/ground fault indicator

For the convenience of fault location, the cable switch module can be equipped with short circuit/ground fault indicators for simple fault detection.

Electric operation

The manual operation mechanism for all switch and transformer units is the standard solution. Alternatively, an electric operating mechanism can be installed.

All switches, vacuum circuit breakers, and grounding switches are operated through mechanisms located behind the front panel. For all switches and circuit breakers, they can be operated through the operating handle (standard configuration) or equipped with a motor operating mechanism (attachment).

However, the grounding switch can only be manually operated and is equipped with mechanisms related to the ability to close fault currents.

Cable connection

The height of the standard conduit from the ground is the same, and it is protected by a cable compartment cover plate. This cover plate can be interlocked with the grounding switch. For dual cable incoming lines, a dedicated dual cable compartment cover plate can also be used.

Pressure indicator

Usually equipped with a pressure indicator, which is in the form of a pressure gauge, and can also be equipped with electrical contacts to indicate a decrease in pressure.

Keylock

Keylocks can be installed for circuit breakers, load switches, and switch connections.
